How to use CC Suncreen?

• Always apply 20 minutes prior to sun exposure.
• Use at the last step of your skincare routine before makeup.
• Take a dime-sized amount and spread evenly onto the face, gently patting for absorption.

How to choose a sunscreen?

• Make sure it contains mineral sunscreen with Zinc Oxide (20-25%), Titanium Dioxide (>12%), or Zinc oxide (15-20%) + titanium dioxide (>5%).
• Our skin needs at least SPF 30 or higher.
• A good suncreen will provide both UVB & UVA protection.
• It is also best to consider a sunscreen that has low in PUFA.

Mineral Sunscreen VS Chemical Sunscreen

Mineral sunscreens, such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, do not absorb into the skin, providing superior UVA protection without irritation, making them suitable for sensitive skin. They also avoid causing hormone disruption and are environmentally friendly. In contrast, chemical sunscreens penetrate the skin, offering minimal UVA protection and may cause irritation, potentially leading to hormone disruption. Additionally, chemical sunscreens pose a threat to coral reefs, making mineral sunscreens a more preferable and conscientious choice for sun protection.
